Reynolds & Edw Hodges - of PittsylvaniaCounty are held and firmly bound unto the Common Wealth in the sum of fifty pounds Current Money of Virginia To which payment well and Truly to be made we bind our Selves our Heirs Exors and admr firmly by thise presents Sealed with our Seals andDated this 21st Day of Augt 1780. Whereas there is a Marriage Suddenly entended and by Gods permifsion Between the above Bound Jos. Reynolds With Margreat Devin. Now the Condition of the obove obove obligation is such that if there is no Lawfull Cause to Obstruct this Marriage then the above Obligation to be Void or Else to Remain in full force.

    • There is little known about Sally--no marriage or census data. She may be the Sally Reynolds who had a son by William Adkins. Adkins recognizes Coleman Reynolds as his son the the will he wrote in 1847. He devises to him tools, livestock, and the land 'whereon Sally Reynolds lately lived.'
