    • A grandson of Ephraim's sister Celia was Galba Fuqua, who died at the Alamo at age 17.

      In March 1808, Ephraim Bondurant, David Bondurant, Jeremiah Lockett, and David Lockett filed a bond of injunction against Joseph Taylor in Bedford County Chancery Court. This indicates that Ephraim was born prior to March 1787, and probably earlier.

      The Bruce-Randolph collection (Accession 20232) consists of the research notes of William Cabell Bruce (1860-1946) relating to John Randolph. The collection comprises 500 items and 14 bound volumes and was accumulated by Bruce preparatory to the writing of John Randolph of Roanoke 1773-1833 (New York, 1922). The material consists for the most part of typescript copies of letters and documents. Included is a scrapbook with glossy prints of various portraits of Randolph.
