  Elisha and his family lived along the North part of the Pigg River. 1782 Henry Couty Personal Property Tax List 1786 tax lists of Franklin County, VA 1810 census lists him in Franklin Conty as head of household and owner of 6 slaves. Took Oath of Allegiance in Henry County, Virginia, September 13, 1777 At the time of Elisha's death in 1817 his personal property,not including land, was valued at $3,030.25.
