• Notes

  John Davis and Hannah Lynnell had twelve children.　 He was a farmer and house carpenter.　 His name appears frequently in the Barnstable town records in real estate transactions and transactions with the Indians.　 He owned considerable real estate at various locations and settled portions on his sons during his own lifetime.　 His will is dated 10 May, 1701, and mentions his still living wife along with his sons and daughters.　 The will was approved 09 April, 1703.
