    • Revolution War Soldier
      He was drafted May 1781 amd was one of the last remaining survivors of the Revolutionary war in Bedford. He received a pension until he died in 1853 because Congress enacted pensions for anyone who served in the revolution for at least 6 months.. He and his wife Tabitha are buried at Andrews Cemetery near Lebanon Methodist Church.
