BURIAL: Place> After death, his body was taken by the Knights Templars to their Old Temple in Holborn, but as he had died under excommunication, could not receive Christian burial till absolution was granted in 1163. He was then buried in the New Temple Church.

Geoffrey married Rohese de Vere on Yes, date unknown. Rohese (daughter of Aubrey II de Vere and Alice fitz Gilbert) died after 21 Oct 1166; was buried in Chicksand Priory, Bedfordshire, England. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
