  Austin T Moore Land 1872 Amherst County Va Reel 7 Dead book JJ page 68 “This dead make this 30th day of October 1872 between Catherine Moore, Thomas H Moore, Edward Sampson, and Sarah his wife, Richard Moore, Wm A Moore, Chas R Moore, John Coffman, and Mary F, his wife, and Emma Moore by Charles M. Blockford appointed a special comm to convey with such of Moore vs. Moore penclargy(?) is this County Court of Ameherst County at its September term 1872 of the first part and Charles Ruckor (color) of the second part witness that in obedionca(?) to and in consideration of the said decree, reade in said cause at the September term of the County Court of Amherst the said Blackford for and in behalf of the said parties of the first part doth grant and convey into said Charles Rucker with special warrenty, the following real estate purchased by said Rucker under the decree in said cause ???? a piece of parcel of land laying in the County of Amherst about one mile above the Tobe???? Budge at Lynchburg adjoining the land of LL Purrs, J.A. Moselay and others being the same conveyed to Austin Moore by Robert Isbell and his wife on 10th of August 1862 and is generally known as “Round Top” or “Sugar Loaf”.
