- Born ... probably in the beginning of the 17th Century. in Haderslev. 1629 Bailiff of Hadelands Fogderi and then had a farm on Thoten in Pant af Kronen. 1630-35 Bailiff of Gudbrandsdalen. 1635-41 Bailiff in Buskerud and had Kongens Savbrug same Sted og Buskerudgaard in the lease, drive also Tømmerhandel. Mostly he was in Company with his countryman 'Johan Garmann the Elder'. Bailiff in several shires (Hadeland 1628-1629, Gudbrandsdal 1629-1636, Buskerud and Hallingdalen 1636-1642). From 1643 until his death mayor of Christiania. He was also one of the largest sawmill owners. Stockfleth built himself a stately apartment building on Queen Street in Christiania, and he also possessed Blindern farm in Aker.
