  Extracted from Tomothy Terrell and Zachariah Martin; Cousins, Brothers in Law and Friends. The following was written about Timothy Terrell in a letter from one ofhis relatives, John Dabney Terrell, to John Davis Terrell of Tuscaloosa,Alabama, about 1850 ... perhaps the whole world never produced a more finished highland devil. He Timothy was rich and honest, but drank freely and all sorts of master devilment filled the measure of his utmost capacity and hisglory. He married a Martin Mary Martin, sister of Zachariah Martin Jr. a king of folks many of whom tormented with the blue devils, and manyother sorts, and by this blood, Tim cast poison into his descendants. Those Tugaloe Terrells Franklin County, Georgia were his children and old Molly, wife of Phil Martin was another drink, fight, lie, swear, and maybe some stole a little Nov 14 1735 Grand Jury of Caroline Co Va charges Timothy Terrell for not going to church.
